GCalDaemon synchronize your Google Calendar with what ever you want !

Posted by: Loopion In: General

Searching for a Google Calendar-like calendar, I found a really cool project GCalDaemon ! This Java application run a service to fetch all your information on your calendars hosted on Google Calendar then it display it on what ever software that’s syncs with iCal format.  But GCalDaemon doesn’t stop on the road like this. It enable you to sync other type of feed like RSS, ATOM, GMail, etc…

To finish, the most important feature with GCalDaemon is the bidirectionnal feature. When you add a event on your application like Rainlendar, you will see the event added on Google Calendar. That is the missed feature of all those calendars application (sunbird, rainlendar, outlook, lightning)
