Why git is now so popular? Why all Rails developer are migrating their repository from SVN to Git? This is a new trend? I to talk about this phenomenon arround my self and no one’s was able to tell me why Git is technicaly better or wrost than another repository system. Then I started to search information on the web but I found nothing revelant. Especially an article written by Git developers : http://git.or.cz/gitwiki/GitSvnComparsion

If someone can give me a reason why Git is now coming at the top of the edge ?

Let’s come back to Github a space where you can host your project using Git repository. You will really need to be a geek to understand how to register because it seems quite complicated. It’s the first time we ask me to enter a Public encrypted key.
