Netineo is a live broadcasting software to create your own Web TV or Web Radio. You can broadcast easily with any device, Webcam, TV tuner, camera and direct file (Divx, mpeg, mp3, wav, others…). I had the opportunity to discuss rapidly with Philippe Bornestein (Netineo CEO) who is really devoted on his project (he came expose us his business plan @ HETIC). He explain me, what he was planning in the next 3 months.

• A buzz marketing for the launching of his new version of his application coming up very soon.
• An expanding of his market in Asia but where precisely in Asia ? Don’t even know yet but I suggest him, in Korea because korean have very large bandwidth (optical, around 100 mbits) more than in France (20mbits)
• A new version of his software

This market is a very hot, with all those online services to provide some VOD. But Netineo position is on Live content. They want to let users to provide live content easily, rapidly and with light devices.

I tried this software and the good point is the rapid installation and disposal of the video on Internet. But there is a big lack on this software. The proxy configuration. There is actually no way to install the soft and use it in an internal company. Maybe on the future there will be this feature added.
