Use Design Patterns to help build Prototypes

Posted by: Loopion In: Web development

37signals did a great Introduction to design patterns “An Introduction to Using Patterns in Web Design”. It will show you up from step one to six how to build with method a great prototype of a web page.
I like the way they came up to the prototyping of a web page. It sounds really simple and effective in theory.

Process of design patterns are well known from 37signals. In their book Getting Real (I heavily recommend this book!) they mention it many times.

I found a guru on the UI scene Martijn van Welie (http://www.welie.com/) who wrote many books and made a great page with Web Design patterns for site types, navigation, searching, basic page types, etc… Intersting and really useful.
