Posted by: Loopion In: Web development

I’m working on a new email marketing system for a school project call Son&Ambiance. While i was starting to create my newsletter system I realized that it was no more effective to track email with IMG tag in HTML, so I search on my Google friend a new method to track open email with a extremely revelant rate.
I found that some email marketing software were “bad boys” by spiting on web browser using exploit from web browser to generate tracking tags. Reading the article Email Tracking: It Gets Worse from Ed Felten I thought it was time to follow those email marketing method by exploiting those new security issue on browser. Moreover, others technology are comming disturbing tracking methods; Edward Grossman demonstrate us many reason on “why email tracking are not effective”; making disagreement about what the meaning of what we call “Open rates”.
So stay tuned i’ll try to buil up a new method with IFRAME or CSS hacks to make a most effective email tracking rate.
