Make snapshot or screenshot of your website easily !

Posted by: Loopion In: Web development

I was crumbling the web for hours and hours to find a way to create a screenshot of a website directly with PHP code. So, first able I found some damn Perl scripts… Then I found some snapshot services… And finally, I found a cool website Webdesignbook where you can easily feed a script with an URL and it returns you a screenshot of your website. For further information please see Snapshot Service.

Easy to use:

http://webdesignbook.net/snapper.php?url={URL}&w={WIDTH}&h={HEIGHT}

Now you can do stuff like this: http://webdesignbook.net/snapper.php?url=blog.loopion.com&w=1024&h=768

Parameters:
&w: width
&h: height
&full: it will output the website in 1024 x “whatever height the site is”

Or make a webpage test: http://www.ekoote.com/test/

(The browser seems to be Internet Explorer 6.0)
